Q: How do you deal with your dysphoria?
A: I’ve dealt with gender dysphoria since I was 11. Having breasts became intolerable for me, as my body just didn’t match who I really was meant to be, and I didn’t feel like I was authentically myself. Dealing with it has been hard since I had to navigate this part by myself. To help with my physical appearance I use a binder which flattens my chest and makes me look more biologically male presenting. I have started to deal with everything by reaching out to people who feel the same way I do about their bodies. It’s been very helpful to know there are the people I turn to when things are bad, and that I’m not alone in this. I really appreciate this supportive community. To learn much more about my gender dysphoria, challenges I face even in the queer community, and much much more, listen to my interview at TheyThemProject.org
